The term ebb and flow describes the process, by means of which water is removed from the sand with ebb, so that it becomes dry, whereas water is supplied to the sand with flow, so that it becomes moist again.
The process for removing moisture from the sand and supplying it again can easily be applied to your riding surface with the Risohorse® ebb and flow system.
The fully automatic control of the moisture content in the footing layer enables surplus moisture to be removed from the riding surface and evaporated moisture to be compensated for in full.
This automatic adjustment to the moisture requirements of the riding surface means that all the key demands for a riding surface are met:
- Uniform, constant basic moisture level in the footing layer
- Firmness of the surface
- Draining capacity
- Elasticity
