Klaus Dammann is a qualified landscape gardener with years of experience in the field. As a horse breeder and operator of a riding establishment, he was keen to apply his knowledge of the configuration of soil to the area of riding surfaces.
The ebb and flow system has been used in the landscape gardening industry for years in order to provide constant watering for plants. So why should this system with the integrated watering and drainage control system not be implemented for riding surfaces in order to ensure the top layer maintains its basic moisture level? Thus the first Risohorse® ebb and flow surface was installed on his own riding complex over 10 years ago.
