HORSE BUSINESS MAGAZINE published a nice article about our Polish partner company.

Since MET Oliva was launched in 2012, we have been proud to be part of this fantastic project as a reliable partner. Working closely and trustingly with the managers and the entire team at Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova, we are constantly striving to provide the best possible conditions for riders and horses. From the very beginning, we have accompanied the continuous development of the facility with passion and expertise. In addition to implementing new projects, we also work with the team at Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova to maintain, care for, and service the existing riding areas. Our common goal is to provide MET Oliva guests with optimal riding areas and excellent training conditions within the scope of all possibilities. This would not be possible without the on-site team, which works hard every day to achieve this goal. Together with the team at Centro Ecuestre Oliva Nova, we look forward to continuing to contribute to the success story of MET Oliva with our expertise and commitment.

We would like to congratulate our client Ippos Club, Anna Papageorgiou, and their team on the further development and great success of the project in Thessaloniki. Following the completion of two riding arenas in March 2023—measuring 105 × 65 m and 80 × 50 m—the equestrian facility was...
From 2006 to 2008, we had the privilege of installing three high-quality training tracks for polo horses, outdoor riding arenas, lunging rings, and an indoor riding arena floor with RISOHORSE® for the renowned Grupo Dos Lunas Polo Club.

In November 2024, we successfully installed a Risohorse ebb and flow riding surface at the riding facility in Itzehoe in close cooperation with the Bengtson stable. We would like to thank Evi and Rolf Göran Bengtson and the team at the Bengtson stable for their trust and cooperation, and we are delighted to be part of this project.
After 19 years of intensive use, the upper tread layer of the outdoor riding arena, built in 2005, was professionally renewed.
Thanks to the renovation, the riding surface now once again meets all requirements in terms of functionality, slip resistance, and riding comfort—comparable to the condition of a new construction.
We are once again hard at work for MET Oliva: servicing and renewing the surface layer for Clear Round and Valencia, but the team at Center Ecuestre Oliva Nova (CEON) is also busy. Let yourself be surprised!

Together with the Riding and Driving Club Buchen, we successfully completed another Risohorse ebb-and-flow arena featuring an additive-free footing layer. We wish the club plenty of enjoyment and many successful competitions with their new arena. A big thank you for the fantastic Google reviews and the kind feedback on Instagram!

For the IPPOS CLUB in Thessaloniki, we are constructing two Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arenas measuring 105 × 65 m and 80 × 50 m. We would like to thank everyone involved for the excellent cooperation and smooth communication!

For Stall Nagel, we completed an outdoor riding arena in Friedrichskoog. We wish them “always a hand’s breadth of water beneath the keel” and many successful tournaments such as the Friedrichskoog Classics.

In July 2021, despite challenging weather conditions, we successfully completed the new Risohorse ebb-and-flow arena at the Sportpferde M&M Haunhorst equestrian facility in Hagen am Teutoburger Wald. Our special thanks go to Melani and Martin Haunhorst and their entire team for the trust they placed in us and for the excellent cooperation.
We wish all riders great enjoyment and success on their new arena – especially during the tournaments held as part of #ReiterHelfenKindern

For Gut Schwalmbruch in Niederkrüchten on the Lower Rhine and for LZRFV Vollmerstein in Wetter an der Ruhr, we were able to complete additional Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arenas with additive-free footing layers. The same was achieved in France for Ecurie Gilles de Ballanda in Villelaure.

Completion of a new 140 × 80 m (11,200 m²) Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arena for MET Oliva.

In 2019, we had the opportunity to realize another riding arena featuring our high-quality Risohorse® ebb-and-flow footing system in Italy.
At the renowned Arezzo Equestrian Center, a fully functional ebb-and-flow arena was created through close cooperation – despite initial challenges with the first sand deliveries for the drainage layer.
We would like to thank the management and team of the Arezzo Equestrian Center for their trust and support in the successful completion of this project.

With the completion of the riding arenas for Godolphin Management Company Ltd in Newmarket, United Kingdom, in spring 2019, we successfully realized another facility with an additive-free footing layer – following the earlier installation for Javier Salvador Stables BV in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands. It remains our goal to continue, wherever possible, constructing riding arenas with footing layers entirely free from additives.

Between December 2018 and January 2019, we completed another Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arena at the Santa Maria Polo Club in Sotogrande, covering a total area of 9,980 m².

In October and November 2018, we successfully completed the construction works for the Sevilla Horse Tour (SHOT) in Carmona, near Seville.

The final of the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup was once again held on the Dammann ebb-and-flow arena at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona. During the event, a heavy rainstorm occurred – yet only a few hours later, the footing was back in perfect condition!

In spring 2016, we were commissioned to construct one outdoor and one indoor riding arena for Stephex Stables in Wolvertem-Meise, as well as two outdoor arenas featuring the Risohorse® ebb-and-flow system for Knokke Hippique in Knokke-Heist.

In 2014 and 2015, we met additional clients who were convinced by our Risohorse® ebb-and-flow footing system and, in some cases, became pioneers of modern arena construction in their respective countries.
Our footing system can now also be found in Portugal, Turkey, Greece, Algeria, and Chile. It was also installed for the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour in Mijas, Spain, and at the new equestrian facility of Javier Salvador in Valkenswaard, the Netherlands.

At the Adena Springs South facility in Ocala, Florida (USA), the first gallop racetrack featuring a surface composed solely of sand and water — built using the Dammann Risohorse® ebb-and-flow system — was completed and put into operation.
Training on the new track surface also takes place under full racing conditions.
Quote from Frank Stronach (Owner of Adena Springs):
“This is the racetrack surface of the future.”

For the Costa del Sol Equestrian Tour in Mijas, Málaga, we were commissioned to construct five outdoor arenas on the grounds of the former gallop racetrack. In total, the riding surfaces cover an area of 30,550 m².

In 2014, we were commissioned by Mrs. Sevil Sabancı to equip the equestrian facility of the SIEC (Sabancı International Equestrian Center) in Istanbul. Our scope of work included the construction of an outdoor arena and the installation of an indoor arena footing – both featuring the proven Risohorse® ebb-and-flow system, which meets the highest standards of riding comfort and surface stability.

On the Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arena we constructed in summer 2013 at the Real Club de Polo de Barcelona (RCPB), the final of the Furusiyya (formerly Meydan) FEI Nations Cup in the CSIO5 category took place from September 26 to 29, 2013. The quality of the footing was unanimously praised by all participants. Owing to this success, the RCPB was able to announce on November 5, 2013, that the FEI had confirmed the club as the host venue for the FEI Nations Cup Final once again in 2014 (October 9–12).*
Alejandro Barreras, Sport Director MET:
The photos were taken on the morning of November 14, 2012, after 156 litres of rain per square metre within 20 hours:
“It’s fantastic how the system performs. If we had an event today – we could ride. Congratulations.”

From May 4 to May 6, 2012, the GCT Valencia 2012 was hosted at the new and modern Oliva Nova Equestrian Center. The quality of our Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arenas impressed and inspired participants, even under changing weather conditions, confirming the organizers’ decision to relocate this stage of the Global Champions Tour to Oliva Nova.
Following the successful first Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET), the organizers of the Global Champions Tour decided at short notice to hold the second stage of the Tour – instead of in Valencia – on our Risohorse® footing arenas at the Oliva Nova Equestrian Center from May 4 to 6, 2012.

The many positive responses from participants and visitors of the first event in Oliva Nova clearly demonstrated that the combination of ideal weather conditions, excellent event organization, and the high quality of the Risohorse® arenas we completed in January 2012 contributed to the overwhelming success of the first Mediterranean Equestrian Tour (MET). The feedback was so convincing that the organizers decided to equip two additional arenas with our footing system later that same year.
At the Magna Racino Equestrian Park in Ebreichsdorf, an international show jumping series took place from May 4 to May 23, 2010.
For this event, Dammann Reitplatz- und Sportplatzbau GmbH constructed two competition arenas covering a total area of 9,600 m².
The footing quality impressed both riders and organizers to such an extent that, in the following month, all remaining arenas at the venue were converted to the Dammann system – creating an additional 15,300 m² of riding surface.
At the French National Stud Center Les Haras Nationaux in Lion d’Angers, a new riding arena was built featuring the proven Dammann ebb-and-flow system. The 4,400 m² training arena and the 8,400 m² competition arena offer ideal conditions for the annual international events hosted at the venue.
In June, a new arena was completed for Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the Royal Equestrian Estate in Riyadh. The Dammann ebb-and-flow system performs flawlessly, ensuring a dust-free riding surface even under extreme temperatures of up to 50 °C.
At the new facilities of Grupo Dos Lunas Club de Polo, we built a dressage arena, a training arena, and two 1,000 m oval training tracks equipped with the Risohorse® ebb-and-flow system. The American and Argentine polo teams who trained there praised the excellent conditions for their horses.
The showground in Wellington / West Palm Beach received a new Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arena. Shortly before the start of the Florida Sunshine Tour, a second Risohorse® arena was completed.
During the second weekend, heavy rainfall nearly brought the Winter Equestrian Games to a halt. To the astonishment of everyone present, both ebb-and-flow arenas withstood the rain perfectly and remained rideable without interruption.
Following this impressive performance, Michael Morrissey, owner and operator of the facility, immediately placed an additional order for approximately one hectare of riding surface featuring the Risohorse® ebb-and-flow system.
Under our technical supervision, a competition arena was completed within a very short time and was fully operational immediately after completion.
The substructure work placed high demands on both machinery and personnel.
Even extreme rainfall and intense heat did not cause any delays in the competition schedule.
The arena was praised by riders and organizers alike as the best competition arena in North America.

Our collaboration with the prestigious Sunshine Tour at Dehesa Montenmedio in Vejer de la Frontera, Spain, began in 2002. This marked the first opportunity to showcase the outstanding performance and quality of our Risohorse® ebb-and-flow arena system in Spain.

Among our very first clients who placed their trust in our company and in the then newly developed ebb-and-flow riding surface system were distinguished personalities and renowned equestrian establishments such as:
• Dr. Uwe Schulten-Baumer, an icon of dressage sport
• Gestüt Babiacki – Website | Instagram
• Hengststation Schult – Website | Instagram
Their trust laid the foundation for many successful projects — and continues to affirm the quality and reliability of our riding surface system to this day.
